Follow on Google News | The Excalibur Matrix Series CrossbowThe Matrix line includes two models: The Matrix 355, which shoots 355 feet per second and The Matrix 380, the flagship of the Matrix line, which shoots 380 feet per second.
The new Matrix Series uses CRT (Compact Recurve Technology). The CRT system allows using a shorter power stroke. This bow is 4 inches shorter and 6 inches narrower than what 225 pound crossbows are today. This makes it easier to cock and has an ergonomically designed stock so that the bow is closer to your body to make it steadier to hold. The stock includes a finger guard to keep your fingers down and out of harm’s way. It also has rubber pads on the fore end and grip. The Matrix also has a new R.E.D. System, which stands for Recoil Energy Dissipation. The R.E.D. System tames the recoil and sound. It cushions the blow as the limb slams forward; it decelerates the string making it quieter and the recoil less so it’s more comfortable to shoot. The Matrix also has a newly developed scope which is more compact than their existing scopes. It has a 30mm tube for maximum light transmission. The scope also includes an upgraded trajectory compensation system to allow for trajectory at speeds up to 400 fps. The Matrix also includes a new Guardian anti-dry-fire system, which is built into the scope mount. It’s built to where if you make a mistake and dry-fire the crossbow, it will stop the string from slamming forward and save your limbs. The Matrix line includes two models: The Matrix 355, which shoots 355 feet per second and The Matrix 380, the flagship of the Matrix line, which shoots 380 feet per second. The Matrix Series is shorter and faster with 60 percent longer limb life. It is also a full pound lighter than the Excalibur Equinox and the string reduces creep while increasing speed. End
