SA Ignite Assists 2,000th Provider in Meaningful Use Attestation

March 4, 2013 - PRLog -- SA Ignite, Inc., a provider of software solutions that streamline and automate the “last mile” to reaching Meaningful Use (MU) of electronic health records (EHR) announced today that it has now assisted its 2,000th provider in attesting to Meaningful Use, yielding more than $35 million in MU incentives..

These 2,000 providers attested utilizing SA Ignite’s MU Assistant®, dubbed the EHR Meaningful Use “TurboTax® equivalent” for its ability to automate MU reporting and achieve one-click electronic attestation to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.

Through the Medicare and Medicaid EHR Incentive Programs offering up to $44,000 per provider, MU Assistant has yielded more than $35 million in incentives to providers as they adopt, implement and achieve Meaningful Use of EHRs.

In addition, SA Ignite is now working with clients in twenty states – from Intermountain Healthcare in Salt Lake City to CHITREC in Chicago to GW Medical Faculty Associates in Washington, DC. These diverse groups also utilize a wide range of EHR vendors, from Allscripts to GE to Epic, which all work seamlessly with MU Assistant.

MU Assistant, a cloud-based software solution, automatically aggregates and monitors MU measures across multiple EHR systems and provides decision support tools such as enabling easy selection of 90-day windows (for Medicare Payment Year 1) and suggesting MU exclusions that providers may claim. The MU Assistant then electronically files providers’ data to the CMS attestation web site, providing a one-click attestation process, and electronically archives supporting data for potential audits.
