Startup Bahrain: Bahrain’s First Interactive Tablet Magazine

March 6, 2013 - PRLog -- The start of March brought along the launch of the first
interactive tablet-only magazine in Bahrain and one of very few
in the region ‘StartUp Bahrain’

Founded by Ahmed AlSawafiri, the mission of the project is to
help local startups and entrepreneurs get some well-deserved
exposure as well as shed light on different success stories.
The magazine also provides readers with information about
all the entrepreneurship support programs and resources
available in Bahrain while using the latest technologies in tablet
publishing which include video interviews, slideshows and
other interactive content.
The idea came from the fact that Bahrain has a great
entrepreneurship environment but no medium or publication
to provide the necessary support and advertisement.

‘startupBahrain’ Project was featured on Wamda.com, the
Middle East Media platform for entrepreneurs, and was also
highly praised and very well received by the local social media
community in Bahrain.
