Steve Cram To Officially Open New Fitness Club And Spa

March 7, 2013 - PRLog -- The former World Champion middle distance runner and BBC’s Voice of Track and Field at the Olympics will spend an hour with invited guests and members at the club in Newcastle Road, Trent Vale, from 5pm on Wednesday, March 13th.

Formerly Total Fitness, it is the second M Club spa and fitness venue launched in the last 18 months in North Staffordshire by Mo Chaudry, who is also chairman of the Festival Park attraction – Water World.

Mo said: “We’re delighted to have such a high profile sporting figure like Steve coming along to help us spread the word about our new club. We’ve already attracted more than 1,500 members so he’ll be in good company. We are on target to hit 5000 members in year 1.”

“Hopefully he’ll be able to pass on some motivating and inspiring fitness tips to everyone as he obviously keeps himself trim- even though it is years since we last saw him on the track. I’m in training myself to challenge him to a bit of a show-down on one of our treadmills”

The club which has created 40 new jobs, features a six-lane pool, a hydrotherapy pool and family pool, a new spa, personalised “Smart Card” exercise programs, beauty treatments, a restaurant and bar, a nursery and crèche and even squash courts.

Sister venue M Club Hanley, formerly Esporta, already has 2,100 members. Both clubs benefit from a back to basics approach with high levels of customer service and customised fitness programs available to all members in a 5 star environment.
