Sour Grapes Murder Mystery to be solved during Farm to Fork dinner at Organic Fresno

March 7, 2013 - PRLog -- Organic Fresno pairs a 4 course Farm to Fork Dinner and “Sour Grapes at the Fresno Buzz”, an Original Murder Mystery Dinner Theater experience.

This original mystery was written by Tara and Mark Hamilton, who are imports to the Fresno area and own Organic Fresno. “Living here for 10 years, we see Fresno differently now. We based the mystery around an awards ceremony for Fresnan of the Year.” The last mystery dinner theater was performed over Valentines Day Weekend and was received well. “We had tourists attending and wanted them to experience Fresno. We were able to incorporate local places, people and concerns by writing it ourselves.” The award contestants in the show include writers for the “Fresno Buzz” (Spoof on the Fresno Bee), an Organic Farmer and a Health Trainer. The audience is the “Who’s Who of Fresno” and they vote for their favorite contestant.

The cast mingles with the audience while they eat their soup and salad. After the entrée is served, the comedic drama unfolds until the murder occurs. In Act 2, dessert is served and the investigation begins! The detective encourages the audience to take note of clues etc. Act 3 is a summation of the findings and an opportunity for the audience to submit their findings. Prizes are awarded for the correct solution. It is fun, family friendly and unique.
