The sky gets higher and the stars disappear. Voices. Shouts. Silence. Blackness in my head. Torn thoughts. Broken dreams. Look! I’m smiling. * * * A tomorrow full of yesterday Living for today say is bad the demons of the past. They scream and they beg. In my ears. In my heart. They tie me in ice-cold chairs. The ropes cannot be cut. They crash all my hopes for getting away from this place. I started it though. It’s all my fault. My horrible creepy imagination started it all. I put yesterday in tomorrow. I put regret in love. I put fault in my heart. The demons, of me are a part. * * * My soul I walk on empty fields. Wind is going through my hair. It is dark and cold. No spark, or light on the long blue road. In my soul foreign rhythms are being hummed. From faceless shadows. From the ghosts of the past. They sing about perfection, such a topic to discuss They sing about depression and they rip my soul in half. I haven’t felt happiness in years I haven’t felt pain or any fear. I’m numb. And the moments are passing from silver to gold. With no feet we are dancing my dignity, sold. I can’t find the crowded fields the atmosphere is tight, no air. http://www.aquillrelle.com/ End
