Allen Bates Induscted Into the Hall of Fame

WYANDOTTE, Mich. - March 12, 2013 - PRLog -- The Michigan Promotional Professionals Association’s top honor conferred at annual
spring trade show and conference. Wyandotte business owner, Allen L. Bates MAS, became just the sixth honoree into the Michigan Promotional Professionals Association (MiPPA) Hall of Fame at a ceremony held in conjunction with the annual trade show in Livonia.

Bates, the owner of Second Step Advertising was cited for his more than eleven years of service as a board member and officer of the association.

“Al never misses a meeting or event. He is always willing to share advice and best
practices with others”, says MiPPA Executive Director Paul Kiewiet. “He raises the standard and is an example of what it means to be a professional in this business.”

The award recognizes individual volunteers who have shared their enthusiasm,
professionalism, time, knowledge, vision and efforts to advance the promotional products industry and their association.

In addition to his service to his industry and association, Bates’ service to his community was also noted. Mr. Bates was Allen Park Jaycees president in 1991, Jaycee of the Year 1988, and he currently serves as Vice President of the Wyandotte Business Association and serves on the board of the Southern Wayne County Chamber of Commerce.

In addition to the induction into the Hall of Fame, Mr. Bates received Honorary Lifetime
Membership into the organization.
