IPath – Stylish, Authentic, Eco-Conscious Skateboarding Footwear

NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Fla. - March 26, 2013 - PRLog -- IPATH is one of the few companies to consistently and effectively promote environmental stability.  

In 1998, a group of style-conscious skateboarders started the company in San Fran with simple aesthetics and an eco-minded approach to designing. To this day they are still looking to continue that eco-friendly approach. Things like using water-based glues, recycled boxes, organic cotton, soy inks, hemp and canvas materials are examples of stuff they do to reduce their impact on the earth. Since then IPATH has been working to make sure that generations to come will also have the opportunity to continue with the skateboarding culture we enjoy so much today. Since their beginnings, the IPATH team has incorporated the use of hemp, organic cotton and other sustainable materials in an effort to reduce the company's impact on the environment, all the while improving the quality of their product along the way.

The Ipath family of shoes consists of many hybrid-style shoes like the Ashbury, the Iconic and the West Wing among others. The Ashbury is a Chukka/boat shoe hybrid with a vulcanized outsole with skate performance durability and it has a little bit of influence from the classic Ipath Cat shoe style. The Iconic blends basketball shoes with skate/active youth culture styles with large logos, premium stitch details and a premium Vibram outsole.  

Ipath sponsors skaters, BMXers and a surfer named Evan Valerie. Their skate team is made up of Matt Rodriguez, Kenny Reed, Fred Gall, Steve Nesser, Nolan Munroe, Kevin Kowalski and Chris Miller. Their BMXers are Van Homan, Seth Kimbrough, Shane Weston and Alex Magallan.
