Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resorts Hosts Closing Day Celebration and Annual Pond Skim on March 31

WHAT:          Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort (LVSSR) announces it will be closing for the winter ski season on Sunday, March 31.  The day will culminate with LVSSR’s tradition Pond Skim competition.  All season pass and day lift ticket holders are welcome to participate.  Prizes will be awarded based on best costume, biggest splash and crowd favorite.  Local entertainer Tommy Rocker performs for the crowd and the Pond Skim awards will be presented on the patio immediately following the competition.

Easter egg hunt for children and adults will be held at 11:00am and other related activities for children and adults will follow. Fees for lift tickets and equipment rental still apply for guests who wish to ski, snowboard or participate in the events of the day.
