The Comedy-O-Rama Hour is a humorous radio show which Bevilacqua describes as "intelligent madness". Equal parts radio theater, sitcom, cartoon and soap opera, the show centers on the denizens of Camp Waterlogg, a dilapidated Catskills kids camp. Bevilacqua creates the storylines and voices two thirds of the characters, with the able assistance of Lorie Kellogg, Kenny Savoy, Jim Folly, Rick Overton, Julie Newmar, Judy Tenuta, and others. On The Jazz-O-Rama Hour, Joe Bev presents personally restored classic recordings from his own collection, with an emphasis on 78 RPM. Bev worked for WBGO, Jazz 88 in Newark, NJ and produced documentaries for WNYC New York Public Radio on jazz legends including Louis Armstrong, Wynton Marsalis, Count Basie, Woody Herman, Cab Calloway, and Lionel Hampton. The Joe Bev Experience is an anthology series representing the depth and breath of Bev's 40-plus year career in audio storytelling, from documentary to radio drama, and new and classic installments of Bev's older radio show Cartoon Carnival. From Mel Blanc to June Foray, from Disney to Hanna-Barbera, Cartoon Carnival is a lively hour of rare and classic cartoon audio, children's records, cartoon music and sound effects, new radio cartoons, interviews and mini-documentaries about the wonderful world of animation. Joe Bevilacqua (Joe Bev) is a veteran producer, writer and voice actor. A protege of Daws Butler, he also works on stage and is the winner of the 2012 New York TANYS Award for Excellence in Acting.
