Columbia High School Track Member Always Finishes at His Personal Best

ALBANY, N.Y. - April 3, 2013 - PRLog -- Capital Region Orthopaedics is pleased to announce a dedicated runner that fought his way to this week’s “Personal Best.”  

Jared Danaher, now a senior, is a member of the varsity track team for Columbia High School.  Jared is described as a “role model”, according to his track coach, Jeff Tooker. Jared consistently is improving his own running, and helping younger runners inside and outside of practices.

Jared’s success in track didn’t come overnight, but his determination to better himself helped him achieve his goals.  “He didn’t start out as the fastest runner on the team, but he was a kid that finished every workout without complaining,” says Took. Jared has proven this kind of mindset can help you overcome any hurdle whether it is on the track or in the classroom.

The track star is his running his final season at Columbia High School. He intends to study chemical engineering in college, and his coaches predict he has a successful future ahead of him. “I always look forward to the next day, even when I have a lot of work to do,” says Jared. Jared’s positive outlook has helped him go the extra distance to finish at his Personal Best.
