Cheer Channel Excites Audiences With New Original Series, Cheer Mashup

AUSTIN, Texas - April 4, 2013 - PRLog -- Cheer Channel Inc. (CCI), the #1 online news and entertainment network for the spirit industry, will launch the World Premier of its newest original web-series, Cheer Mashup, on Thursday April 4, 2013 at 7pm CST. Cheer Mashup, hosted by 2-time World Champion cheerleader and role model, Maddie Gardner, is the second original series produced by CCI, and the first and only cheer lifestyle show for and about cheerleaders. The series will feature 6 monthly episodes which will air every first Thursday beginning in April.

Maddie Gardner is the featured host bringing viewers the top news and trends in the spirit industry with user content submitted by cheerleaders, as well as branded and sponsored content. Cheer Mashup covers everything from what's hot and what's not, cheer fashion and style, industry reviews and new products, cheerleader and team profiles, funny videos and more, along with tips and advice from Maddie herself. The interactive elements are set to prompt fans to send in their pictures, videos, and questions for Maddie to feature on the show. Cheer Mashup Episode 1 will give viewers a special, behind-the-scenes look into other CCI productions including Secret Diary of an American Cheerleader 2: The Fierce One.

Along with the interactive show features, Cheer Mashup holds a monthly Facebook contest on its dedicated show Facebook page to go along with each episode. Fans can enter the monthly contests for a chance to win prizes from Spirit Bows, the Cheer Mashup contest sponsor. Fans can send in their requests for what they want to see on the show via Cheer Mashup Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Episodes can be viewed on the CCI website, CheerMashup YouTube page, and CheerMashup Facebook page.
