Xtra 21 Express Trucking, President Braylon Lester voted 2013 MBE Industry Committee 2nd Vice Chair

DALLAS - April 5, 2013 - PRLog -- DALLAS, TX,  – 2013 Inner City 100 (www.icic.org) & Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce Quest for Success Award winner, Braylon Lester adds a new title to his list of recent accomplishments; he has been voted 2nd Vice Chair for the DFW Minority Supplier Development Council, Minority Business Enterprise Input Committee (Construction). The Minority Business Enterprise Input Committee is a leadership group of certified minority companies within the DFWMSDC who act as an advocate for issues related to minority business development. Mr. Lester will be among a select group of small business leaders providing a platform for supplies to network and partner for future business opportunities. As an avid supporter of the DFWMSDC and certified D/MBE, he will stay abreast of state and national legislative issues in support of the councils’ mission.

The Dallas/Fort Worth Minority Supplier Development Council (D/FW MSDC) is a 501 (C) (3) privately funded, nonprofit, business organization, formed in 1973 by major corporations committed to fostering a business environment which promotes access and opportunity for minority-owned businesses.   The Council currently comprises 180 private and public sector buying entities and 650 plus diverse certified minority-owned businesses.
