By: Idronic P/L Idronic is proud to announce our upcoming add-on, which will enable all users of our flagship ERP, LaserQuote, to offer their clients the convenience of generating quotes automatically from within the web interface already available. Our approach aims to redefine the experience your customers get and deliver consistent, flexible and predictable results you can rely on. Our entire interface will be web based and flow-in seamlessly with the current design. A brief description of the work flow and the expected user experience as follows: Your customer is logged in with credentials you have provided. Currently a customer can request quotes, view a list of all their parts and prices, view and print all their quotes, raise orders from quotes or parts, view a list of all their deliveries to date including printing copies of packing slips etc. They will select to start a new quote which will prompt them to upload their CAD data files which can be a combination of DXF’s or DWG’s of all known versions and which can contain multiple patterns within on drawing file and also have all the other usual elements found in most drawings – title blocks, multiple layers, dimensions, isometric views etc. The Converter will allow users to extract all the required patterns to be priced, via and easy to follow interface. Selecting the pattern from a complex drawing is as easy as clicking on it. The converter will extract the data and discard the unnecessary one. Broken entities and orphan ones will also be automatically fixed. In this step the user associates the correct material type, thickness grade and finish and the respective quantity for each selected pattern together with any restrictions on rotating the parts in the nesting process to follow. The files are submitted to our nesting server and a few minutes later your customer receives an email with the parts quoted, ready to be ordered via the same interface. We should add that the method of how a price is calculated is entirely within your control. You can instruct the nesting server which material sizes to use in the nesting process and the server will use all available sizes basing the costing on the size that defines the most efficient outcome. At the same time you can set the time spent by our server to achieve the results desired (the longer the better the results and we are referring to seconds per part here). Each customer also has its own profit margin used the calculation and the material requirements can be reported on nested value, estimated as surface usage from within one nest with attributed scrap value or purely based on part surface area ignoring any scrap. This ground breaking feature and the technology to achieve it has been possible via our close partnership with the UK based nesting company Aptia Solutions the makers of QuoteFab, a much loved product already to all LaserQuote users. Upon release we will make this add-on available FREE for unlimited use for all licensed users of our LaserQuote and RanFab solutions. This is a limited offer so take advantage while it lasts.Idronic and Aptia Solutions have changed the way profile cutters and especially contract cutters do business, join our family and see what the buzz is all about.
