The funded Certificate III in Business Administration is open to: • Aboriginal People • Young unemployed (15-24) who may experience difficulty making a successful transition from school to work, are unemployed or underemployed • People with a disability who are unemployed or underemployed • Migrants who are unemployed or underemployed • Unemployed people struggling with pathways to employment. Eligible students will only pay a $50 administration fee to complete the course. College Executive Director, Mallory Dale, said the College is committed to providing learning opportunities that will help our local community improve their employability. “With a local unemployment rate of 6% as at December 2012 and 12,366 individuals registered an active with Job Services Australia, we believe funded learning opportunities like these will boost the ability of individuals and help to build a healthy prosperous community. “This course provides students with the skills, knowledge and confidence to gain employment in an office as a Receptionist, Office Administrator, Data Entry Operator, Accounts Clerk or Work Processing Officer,” said Ms Dale. The course commences Monday 29 April, and will run Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays 9am – 1pm until the end of September.
