The Beck Group, a worldwide, integrated architecture, construction, technology and professional services firm, today announced two key promotions in its Dallas office. Jeff Forbes, LEED AP, will now serve as regional director of Beck’s Dallas office. Forbes, a 31-year veteran of the organization, will manage all construction operations in Dallas. His responsibilities will encompass day-to-day operations, including project execution and staffing, safety, division profitability, client relationships and business development. Forbes is noted for his successful leadership of complex assignments for clients in a variety of project types, including churches, retail, private schools and office buildings. John Paul DeFrank, AIA has been promoted to managing principal of Beck’s Dallas architecture group. DeFrank previously served as co-director of the church services group and has in-depth knowledge of the acoustical, technical and code issues involved in large auditorium spaces. DeFrank will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Dallas architecture group and is responsible for the Dallas office architecture projects. “Because of Jeff’s talent for planning and strategic thinking, he has successfully delivered several complex assignments for our clients.
