WINCHENDON, Mass. - April 13, 2013 - PRLog -- The Penguin Roadracing School and Team Pro-Motion are proud to announce that they will be working together to bring advanced riding courses to three events at New Jersey Motorsports Park in 2013.

First, the Penguin School will be providing advanced rider training courses, open to all licensed racers and experienced track day riders, on both the May 3rd and September 6th Team Pro-Motion track day events.  These Friday dates precede the CCS race weekends on May 4-5 and September 7-8.  The curriculum is designed to give racers the opportunity to gain a leg up on the competition for the race weekend as well as provide track day riders with the tools to increase speed and confidence on the racetrack.

Next, Penguin will working together with TPM for Day Two of the Ducati "Ride with the Stars" event, featuring guest instructor Eric Bostrom, taking place on September 21 & 22, 2013. http://www.penguinracing.com/pages/454_ride_with_the_stars_september_21_23_at_njmp.cfm.  This premium track day event is open to riders on all brands of motorcycles and will combine the Penguin Staff with a crew of hand picked pro riders to make for an unforgettable track experience.

"We are excited about the opportunity to work with a professional organization like Team Pro Motion and to offer our advanced curriculum to the riders at NJMP.  Glen Goldman has done an excellent job building the motorcycle riding community and his work blends perfectly with the Penguin School mission to provide track riders with the tools and knowledge for success," said Eric Wood, President of the Penguin School.

---------------------------------------------------------
Founded in 1973 by Jerry Wood and Joe Ziegler, the Penguin Racing School based in Winchendon, MA, is the nation's first and longest running motorcycle training school. The school was key in helping transform road racing safety as the sport grew in the 1970s. The first Penguin School manual "Learn to Fly" provided riders with a game plan for a complete understanding of road racing rules and safety procedures as well as a solid path to improve their skills. The school grew under the leadership of Jerry Wood and their first advanced class instructor, factory rider, John Bettencourt. John was succeeded by the famous US Superbike privateer, Dale Quarterley. Currently, under the leadership of Eric Wood, son of founder Jerry Wood, the school has expanded from its base operation at New Hampshire Motor Speedway to include schools in New Jersey and Florida. Utilizing advanced training materials, with the industry's best team of lead instructors, the school trains thousands street riders and racers in basic and advanced skills.
