Voice Over Talent Website Forecasts the Industry to Continue to Grow in 2013

Online professional voice over services website The Voice Realm expects the industry to grow for the remainder of 2013 with bookings almost doubling each month since January.

NEW YORK - April 14, 2013 - PRLog -- While many industries continue to re-establish themself after the recent global recession, the growth in applications requiring a human voice has helped the voice over industry power along at an increasing rate. The use of voice talent (http://www.thevoicerealm.com/index.php) in smartphone apps, online content along with small business having better and cheaper access to professional voices, has increased demand on casting websites that help with crowdsourcing of talent.

During January the site booked 173 jobs, in February this increased to 312, then in March over 600 jobs were cast.

The growth has been a boon for professional male and female voice talent (http://www.thevoicerealm.com/female-voice-overs.php?gender=2) like Rachael West who is based in Colorado where she records in her studio for clients daily. “The Voice Realm has introduced really top notch clients to my voice and facilitated the beginnings of wonderful business relationships. The whole process, from booking a job to getting paid, can happen in less than a couple of hours in some instances. The Voice Realm delivers on its promise of in-the-now to both its clients and talent.”

The website is unique in the fact that only professional voice talent are listed, rates are clear and clients work directly with the voice talent who utilize their own studios, which drastically reduces the cost.

Voice talent are given administrative support from the site through the entire booking, and handle all monetary transactions, invoicing and payment.

Christina Ho, a voice over artist from Canada has benefited from the sites simple to use system. “I really appreciate that the Voice Realm website can be used to keep a record of what happens at each stage of the job, to track what’s been sent in terms of feedback and deliverables, and knowing that the team is there for advice and support along the way because everything is documented. It’s a great form of protection, plus it keeps my jobs well-organized too.”

After being launched in March 2012, the voice over services (http://www.thevoicerealm.com/voice-over-services) website filled a whole that was missing in the industry.

Robert James, marketing manager for the site explains. “There were sites that allowed anyone to join and have a profile; this was just creating a mess of a professional industry. There were no set rates, voice talent literally placed bids on how much they would record a client’s script for. No matter how anyone tries to spin it, this is detrimental, especially when you have amateur voice talent undercutting industry pros.”

The Voice Realm screens all voice talent that appear on the site to ensure clients are only presented with a quality far superior to anywhere else.

John McClain has regular clients found through the site, including ongoing television and radio bookings with a regional car dealership. “The main difference is an effort to work with the talent, keep rates up and keep it a professional atmosphere. Everyone I've worked with is great. There's an expectation of quality and a level of professionalism that you don't generally find on competing sites.”

Recent clients of the site include Taco Bell, Barnes & Noble, Toyota, University of São Paulo, along with hundreds of internet whiteboard videos, radio imaging, medical narrations, e-learning material and audio books.

Clients are able to audition voice talent for free by posting a casting notice which includes a small sample of their script; this then gets sent to all suitable voice talent that meet the criteria set. Custom auditions are uploaded sometimes within the hour.

Voice actors looking for voice over jobs (http://www.thevoicerealm.com/voice-over-jobs-online.php) are directed to submit their dry audio sample through the site for consideration.

The Voice Realm now operates across three language platforms http://www.thevoicerealm.com (Global)http://www.thevoicerealm.co.uk (British) and http://www.thevoicerealm.es (Spanish)
