Singers, Music Directors' Cricket Match

MUMBAI, India - April 15, 2013 - PRLog -- Cricket is one thing that every Indian connects to, irrespective of their language, region, religion, caste & creed. And amidst the various cricket leagues, like the on-going IPL & the recently ended CCL, singer Kailash Kher also organized a friendly cricket match with a bunch of singers and musicians. Shaan's team had won the match but the man of the match was the captain of the other team, Babul Supriyo, with 46 runs.

Shaan not only played the role of the captain of his team but also that of the commentator of the match while he wasn’t playing, and he marveled, cracking jokes and creating a fun atmosphere.

But a really funny situation arose while the match was on. The electricity to the ground where the match was being held, got cut suddenly & a complete chaos of jokes & interviews took over the ground.

Shaan suggested a new way of passing the time while the electricity was being revived, by making a parody of a few songs and connecting them to the situation. Kailash Kher’s little son Kabir also hummed to the tunes of his father’s much loved songs.

At last, when the electricity was revived, the play continued.

According to Kailash Kher, after 10-12 friendly matches, he will make a proper team with best singers and musicians to compete with each others’ teams.

Other players who were a part of both the teams were Abhijeet Sawant, Meiyang Chang, Bappa Lehari, Krishna, Paresh Kamath, Naresh Kamath etc,.
Among others Female singers on the field to cheer their peers up were Akriti Kakkar, Shilpa Rao, Shruti Pathak and Sonu Kakkar.
