SSCG to host UK - Africa SMEs Development and Investment Conference on Friday 31 May in London

OXFORD, U.K. - April 15, 2013 - PRLog -- Following recent discussion by the President of African Development Bank Donald Kaberuka, regarding Africa’s need for investment in human development, SSCG’s London conference will address critical topics, such as the vital role of enterprise capacity building and value chain development in the continent’s growth. Leading speakers will discuss key areas including exploring and capturing investment opportunities in Africa; bridging the finance and investment gap for SMEs; harnessing industrial competitiveness and market development; fostering innovation, entrepreneurship and creativity; and more.

In light of increasing interest in Africa as the next global trade powerhouse, there are still many economic and social challenges endangering the continent’s sustainable development. SMEs and entrepreneurs face overwhelming obstacles ranging from inadequate capital and access to finance to obstructive business policies and regulatory environments.
