National Football League Legends Lineup To Cut Ribbon for Ahwatukee Beauty Salon and Spa

AHWATUKEE, Ariz. - April 15, 2013 - PRLog -- Ahwatukee, AZ – Football heroes, the Ahwatukee Foothills Chamber of Commerce, professional golfers will all be present at the newest beauty salon and spa this Thursday for its ribbon cutting ceremony.

Former players representing the NFL at the Doria Me’Chelle Salon and Spa grand opening all have connections to Arizona’s Cardinals.  All-Pro Frank Sanders, Seth Joyner and Elliot Tabron

Frank Sanders was selected by the Arizona Cardinals in the second round of the 1995 NFL Draft. A 6'1", 207-lb.  As a wide receiver from Auburn University, Sanders played in nine NFL seasons from 1995 to 2003. His peak performance in his career came during the 1998 season when he led the NFC in receptions with 89 for 1,145 yards and three touchdowns.

Seth Joyner was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the eighth round of the 1986 NFL Draft. Joyner played in the NFL for the Arizona Cardinals (1994–1996).  He was named NFL Player of the Year by Sports Illustrated that very same year and received runner-up honors for Associated Press NFL Defensive Player of the Year.  In 1999 he won a Super Bowl ring as a member of the Broncos, which turned out to be his last game.

A pure athletic talent with world class speed, Elliot Tabron was drafted and played professional football as a Wide Receiver with the Dallas Cowboys in the mid 80’s. Elliot  still holds several track records at universities where he competed among the best in the world. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame at Wayne State University, and was once ranked #2 in the world for the 400 meter dash and was picked to win the Olympic gold medal by Track and Field magazine.

Doria Me'Chelle founded her Salon and Spa in March of 2009, opening her first salon in Southfield, Michigan. She has been a recipient of multiple awards for her ability to teach and lead others.  Doria has been involved in concentration of hair coloring and precision cutting since her studies at Dudley's Cosmetology University in North Carolina. She also studied at the International State College of Cosmetology located in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
