Bankruptcy Court Clerk’s Office Temporarily in New Location

DENVER - April 17, 2013 - PRLog -- Some temporary changes are in effect at the bankruptcy court building here in Denver due to some ongoing construction projects. Bankruptcy 5280, a Denver-based bankruptcy law firm would like to make clients who are in the middle of bankruptcy proceedings aware of these changes.

The bankruptcy court clerk’s office has been temporarily relocated to the second floor of the courthouse. Those visiting this office can look for signs inside the courthouse that will direct them to the new location. It is anticipated that the clerk’s office will operate out of this temporary setting until sometime in August 2013.

Individuals can still contact the bankruptcy clerk’s office by using the same contact information as before. The mailing address is 721 19th Street, Denver, CO 80202, and the phone number is 720-904-7300. Electronic records are still available through the PACER system, which can be found online.

Payments can no longer be made at the clerk’s office after 4 p.m. After that time, visitors can use the secure drop box, which is located near their previous location on the first floor of the courthouse. Any supporting documents will need to be placed in this drop box as well. A receipt for payment will be mailed the following business day by employees at the clerk’s office.

Court hearings are temporarily being held in the Rogers Courthouse building located at 1929 Stout Street in Denver while construction is underway. Judge Tallman hears cases in room C203, Judge Brooks in C402, Judge Campbell in C205, Judge Brown in C501 and Judge Romero in C502.
