Saint Alphonsus Liguori Catholic School Presents Disney’s Alice In Wonderland Junior

WHEELING, Ill. - April 18, 2013 - PRLog -- Saint Alphonsus Liguori Catholic School students invite the public to their performance of Disney’s Alice in Wonderland Junior this weekend.

More than 30 students will help tell the story of Alice’s adventure after she follows a little white rabbit into a dark tunnel.

Students will perform two shows – one on Friday, April 19 at 7:00 p.m. and the second on Sunday, April 21 at 3 p.m. in the school gymnasium, located at 411 N. Wheeling Road in Prospect Heights. Tickets cost $6 for adults and $3 for children. Children three and under are free.

Saint Alphonsus music teacher Nesreen Duncan and computer teacher Arlene Delaney direct this annual school musical. Art teacher Cecily Shudy designs the decorations, while school secretary and librarian Mary Ellen Hahn and teacher aide Linda Bromer take charge of the costumes and props. Parents also volunteer – Jeff Ostrowski will handle the sound, while Robert Duncan coordinates the music. The play’s producer is school Principal Fred Muehleman. Student and parent volunteers also help build, paint and change the sets.
