2013 Fashion Front Awards NYC Winner: Editorial Spread Shot By Award-Winning Photographer Kah Poon

NEW YORK - April 19, 2013 - PRLog -- On Friday, May 3rd, 2013, award-winning photographer Kah Poon (www.kahpoon.com) will present the winning fashion designer at the 2013 Fashion Front Awards NYC with an editorial photo spread of their collection and will personally recommend the photos be featured in a print fashion publication he currently works with. Serving as one of the three celebrity judges at the 2013 Fashion Front Awards, Kah Poon will help decide the winner of the popular runway competition for emerging fashion designers. Singapore native Kah Poon moved to New York in 1995 for internships with Joyce Tenneson and Annie Leibovitz. Kah was later hired by Tenneson and worked with her for 4 years before branching out on his own.

Some of Kah’s clients include VH1, London Fog, Ernst and Young, Polaroid, Fuji Film, J. McLaughlin, Essence, Spirit and Flesh and The New York Times. In 2012 Graphis (www.graphis.com) selected Kah as one of the top 100 photographers. Additionally, Kah has received awards from Polariod, Communication Arts, 10 Best 10, Fuji Film, Hasselblad and Adobe.

Celebrating it's 3rd annual year, the 2013 Fashion Front Awards is an exciting event honoring emerging stars within your city's fashion community. New York fashion lovers can mark their calendars, as the 2013 Fashion Front Awards NYC is schedule to take place Friday May 3rd, 2013 at 8 PM. Guests will enjoy six live runways presentations from rising New York fashion designers, special live performances, and an exciting awards ceremony recognizing emerging artists and professionals within New York's fashion community. Hosted at internationally recognized Lair NYC, Executive Chef Chris Cheung, known for his “Evolutionary Chinese Cuisine” is inviting guests to enjoy complimentary appetizers from 8 PM – 9 PM, and there will be no shortage of delicious specialty cocktails at the bar. The 2013 Fashion Front Awards NYC is proud to benefit, ProjectArt, an NYC-based free arts education organization that allows youth to create art without limits (www.projectart.org).

For two years, the Fashion Front Awards has provided young fashion designers and other creative members of the industry a platform to share their talents. Founded in 2010, the Fashion Front Awards recognizes emerging fashion talent within local communities around the world with creative awards, serves host to fun runway competitions, and incubates talent by providing business support and marketing tools to all participants.
