Free spirit catches Sissy as actor/singer Estelle Bajou perform LIVE on The Sissy Show Friday night!

NEW YORK - April 25, 2013 - PRLog -- Estelle Bajou is a bilingual French-American polymath, raised in a small furniture factory town in the mountains of North Carolina. These days she mainly works as an actor, musician-composer, and writer.
    She is a member of One Year Lease Theater Company, and the Brooklyn-based band, Kotorino. You can watch her first feature film project as an actor, subHysteria (an improv film, dir. Leonard Zelig), on iTunes. Her first feature as a composer, Beneath Disheveled Stars (dir. Kevin Baggott), is set for release later this year.  Her first feature-length screenplay, 'Play Not a March for Victors Only,' is fiscally sponsored by The New York Foundation for the Arts, and currently in development.
   At age nineteen she earned a BA in Theatre and Creative Writing from Bard College at Simon's Rock. She then earned an MFA in Acting from The New School for Drama.
  She's based in New York City, and has loved traveling all over North America, to Central and South America, Europe, and the Middle East, including Iraq in 2009, for projects.
   What she longs for as she approaches each new artistic opportunity is to continue her development and practical education by working on material that feels perilous, unachievable, purposeful, and pleasurable, with inspired collaborators who dazzle her with work beyond her current capacity.
