Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County names 2013 Triunfo! Award Winners

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - April 29, 2013 - PRLog -- Palm Beach Gardens- The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County continued the tradition of recognizing the outstanding individuals and enterprises within the county's Hispanic population.

The winners of the scholarships and business awards were honored at the sixteenth annual Triunfo! Awards banquet that took place Saturday April 6th at the PG National Resort and Spa in Palm Beach Gardens, FL.

Business awards were given in five different categories, including non-profit, education, health and wellness and large and small business. The 2013 winners are:

Non-Profit Organization: Quantum Foundation
Health and Wellness: Clinics Can Help
Education: Palm Beach State College
Small Business Enterprise: Burrowes Insurance
Large Business Enterprise: South Florida Fair

In addition the following students received Triunfo! Scholarships:

Julia McBee- Dreyfoos School of the Arts $2,000
Jairo Garcia- Pahokee High School $1,500
Karen Herrera- Jupiter High School $1,500
Sofia Montes- Boca Raton High School $1,000
Alondra Cortes- Pahokee High School $2,500
Brian Higuera- Boca Raton High School $1,000
Gabryelle Estrada- Inlet Grove High School $1,000
Oscar Maldonado- Olympic Heights High School $1,000
