Brad has passionately upheld the rights of victims and their families throughout this legal career in the areas of personal injury and wrongful death, negligent and inadequate security and sexual abuse and assault. Before entering private practice, Brad was lead trial attorney at the Broward County State Attorney’s Office, prosecuting many violent criminals. Since leaving the State Attorney's Office, he has continued to devote his practice and his life to fighting for the rights of crime victims, oftentimes in complicated and hotly contested complex civil trial matters. Many of his clients have been injured or harmed as a result of a criminal activity (rape, shooting, stabbing, fraud, privacy rights violations, etc.). Despite his busy trial schedule, Brad also provides hundreds of hours of pro bono services each year to Victims Advocate Services and victims' rights groups in Broward and Palm Beach County and throughout the country. The Palm Beach County Victims’ Rights Coalition was originally founded in 1975 under grants from the Law Enforcement Assistance Administration. The Office of the State Attorney in conjunction with the Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners had the foresight to recognize and respond to the needs of crime victims in Palm Beach County and, following three years of federal funding,Their services were permanently funded by the Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners. Located within the Palm Beach County Department of Public Safety, Victim Services is independent of, but work closely with, the 15th Judicial Circuit Office of the State Attorney and Law Enforcement Agencies. For 32 years they have been providing comprehensive services to primary and secondary victims of sexual violence, domestic violence, homicide and other violent crimes. Their services are provided in 5 locations throughout Palm Beach County and are free of charge to crime victims.
