212 Inc. Raises Money for The One Fund Boston

WELLESLEY, Mass. - April 30, 2013 - PRLog -- 212 Inc. recently helped organize and participated in a charity raffle and collected donations for The One Fund Boston at a local leadership conference. Monies raised were to help the victims of the marathon bombings on April 15th.

212 Inc. was in attendance at a leadership conference held at the Westin Copley in the Back Bay neighborhood of Boston. Over 150 local entrepreneurs and team leaders of local organizations were in attendance. Raffle tickets were purchased for $5 and participants had a chance to win an iPad. Andrea Atkinson, President, 212 Inc., spoke to all attendees, explaining the charity and urging all to buy tickets.

“I was compelled to do what I could after reading the stories of some of the victims who lost their limbs in the marathon bombings,” said Andrea Atkinson, President, 212 Inc. “In the event of such tragedies most people can feel hopeless. You want to do something that will help. I knew others would feel the same and contribute what they could.”

The One Fund Boston Inc. is a charitable organization formed by Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick and Boston Mayor Tom Menino. It is designed to help the people most affected by the tragic events that occurred in Boston on April 15, 2013. 100 percent of donations will be distributed to those in need.
