Leicestershire homebuilder offers apprenticeships

May 1, 2013 - PRLog -- East Midlands homebuilder, Davidsons, are offering apprenticeships in house building at their new Leicestershire developments in Anstey and Ibstock, from the summer of 2013. The scheme is being offered in partnership with the David Wilson Foundation, a charity set up and funded by David Wilson, which promotes education for young people in Leicestershire to assist in delivering apprenticeship schemes.

Davidsons Operations Director, Jason Glover, said “We are opening our first developments in Anstey and Ibstock and we always aim to work with the local community wherever we build. We are offering a first class apprenticeship scheme which will allow successful applicants to train and work on the local development. The apprenticeships will also provide the opportunity to develop a long term career in house building. We are offering apprenticeships in joinery, brickwork, design and quantity surveying”.

Davidsons Homes, whose head office is in Ibstock, have been rated as a 5 star builder in the latest HBF/NHBC customer satisfaction survey – the highest rating.
