Dance Fundraiser Includes Integrated Workshops

May 1, 2013 - PRLog -- Edmonton, AB- Alison Neuman is a dancer. She is also in a wheelchair, and to some, that may seem like an odd mix. But Alison has never let her physical disability stop her from achieving her goals, and in May she will be supporting a great cause- Got Dance? For the The Orchesis Dance Society.

The fundraiser will host workshops that include sessions on Integrated Ballet, Beginner Hip Hop, Zumba, Salsa, Jazz, Yoga, and improvisational techniques.

As a member of IDance Edmonton, Alison is excited to be part of this fundraiser that will benefit dancers of all abilities. She is about to start casting for her own Musical  Searching for Normal for the Fringe this year and this is a chance for dancers to explore their emerging talents, or to hone up on their dance skills.

“This is a great opportunity to not only support the Arts in Edmonton, but to learn some great dance moves, have a great meal and meet some fabulous people. The workshops on Friday are only $5.00 bucks. You can’t even get a lunch for that anymore! I encourage everyone to consider signing up for this VIP Dance Weekend,” says Neuman.
