Gov. Nathan Deal joins MLK Renaissance Fest in efforts to raise awareness of "Non-Violence" Month

May 6, 2013 - PRLog -- (Atlanta, GA)- May 1st, 2013 CEO Wesley Kelly and Victory Over Violence Founder V-Man met with Governor Nathan Deal at the State’s Capital to make the announcement of involved with the The Official State of Georgia Annual Victory over Violence Non. Violence Month Kick-Off tribute.__ Photos were taken the with Hon. Governor Deal and participants of the Non-Violence Proclamation. Former Atlanta Falcons Thomas Johnson and wife Jonna Johnson joined TLC Sisterhood Pastors Brian and Dominique Scott to announce their support of GME Sports Lounge incorporating the call to action of “Non-Violence” at the first annual MLK Renaissance Fest 2013.

The MLK Renaissance Fest will be an 2 (two) day free festival that will address issues prevalent in the urban community. Financial literacy, health awareness, alternatives to violence, A-list entertainment and promotion of physical activity will be key elements available to all attendees of the event.

Koffey Brown of Detroit’s Radio One Hot 107.5 and Atlanta’s Streetz 94.5 FM have also agreed to partake with awareness of this historical event. Several well known artists and public figures will attend this family oriented event and engage with fans. Given the non-violent tactics associated with Martin Luther King Jr.; GME Sports Lounge is bringing that atmosphere of peace upon all during Memorial Day Weekend.
