Scrap Metal Art Thailand creates welded metal statues ranging in size from 1 meter high to 15 meters high.
Each statue is absolutely unique and custom made; one of a kind for each client.
We have a team of professional artist welders which can create up to 8-10 life size statues per month.
To get an idea about the respective weights: the 1.5m statues weigh about 200kg, the 2.5m ones weigh 500kg, and 6m ones can weigh up to 2500kg.
As you see a lot of scrap metal in weight we recycle into art; making the world a prettier and cleaner place :-)

Shipment is from Thailand, worldwide, via sea; air transport is only used for statues smaller then 60cm.
Transport via sea takes 15 days to Australia, 4 weeks to Europe and USA, and 5 weeks to Latin America. We use one of the best international shipping companies in the region, with offices worldwide, ensuring transport without problems.
To get an idea about packing size: a 2m statue packs into a 3 CBM (cubic meter) box, a 3m statue in 5 CBM, and a 6m statue requires about 12 CBM.
Shipping rates (2013) are about 200 USD/CBM to Australia, 250 USD/CBM to Europe and USA, and 400 USD/CBM to Latin America; note that these fees include all port of "origin" costs, including transport from the atelier to port, packing, customs filing, etc.
