BOZEMAN, Mont. - May 8, 2013 - PRLog -- BELGRADE, MONTANA, May 05, 2013 – Dr. Jon Wilhelm, of Pro Chiropractic (http://prochiromt.com/), doesn’t believe in being complacent about keeping abreast of the latest techniques and ideas. With that in mind, he was happy to attend the latest Sports Symposium in Colorado Springs, presented by The American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians. Classes were held at the US Olympic Training Center. CEU’s, or Continuing Education Units were earnable

These are the things that separate good chiropractors from great chiropractors. “Dr. Wilhelm has an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. He feels that he has to master as many techniques as possible to be able to offer the best care to his patients”, according to a Pro Chiropractic (http://prochiromt.com/) spokesperson. This symposium presented the opportunity to refine skills such as: Imaging of Sports Injuries, Therapeutic Needling Techniques, Functional Mobilization, and an Evidence Based Approach to Olympic Sports Medicine.

Pro Chiropractic (http://prochiromt.com/) will benefit by Dr. Jon’s attendance at workshops and seminars on: Orthopedic Assessment of Sports Medicine Injuries, Current Concepts in Soft Tissue Care, Sports Psychology for the Olympic Athlete, and the role of Ultrasound in the diagnosis and treatment of sports related injuries. The Symposium presented a wealth of information.

Dr. Jon Wilhelm explains that sports injuries come in all sizes and shapes. They can affect the Back and Neck, Knees, Shoulders, Elbows, Feet and Wrists. Not all Chiropractors are Certified to adjust the extremities.  Dr. Wilhelm is the only combined Certified Extremity (CCEP) and Sports Chiropractor (CCSP) in Montana, and the first with a Master’s Degree in Sports Science and Rehabilitation. Not surprising to hear that other Chiropractors come to Dr. Jon for treatments.

Pro Chiropractic (http://prochiromt.com/) will always be the place to go for the most advanced treatments. Kinesio Taping and The Graston Soft Tissue Technique are only the beginning. Dr. Jon was the premier Certified Graston Technique provider in Montana, and the first Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner (CKTP) in this area.

You are invited to stop by the office, and say hello to Dr. Jon and his friendly and caring staff.
