Follow on Google News | Cicero’s 2013 India’s liveliest and the biggest Inter-School CarnivalBy: IIPM Prelude to Cicero’s Carnival was conducted in over 50 schools in the Delhi-NCR region. Cicero packs a versatile range of competitive events where 2500 students from over 50 schools tested themselves against the very best from other prestigious schools. Some of the schools that visited IIPM New Delhi were Modern School Barakhamba, Amity International School Gurgaon, DPS, Salwan Public School, Mont Fort School, New Green Field Saket, Manav Rachna School Gurgaon etc. Cicero’s flagship event was Cicero’s Challenge- Debate Competition. Every year Cicero’s Challenge draws the brightest young minds across India for an intellectually rich round of debating. This time the debate revolved around “We as a society believe in adjusting & compromising, not speaking up”. The first prize for the debate winner was a cash prize of Rs. 1,00,000/- while the runner-up and second runner-up won Rs. 50,000/- and Rs. 25,000/- respectively. Some of the other competitions that were held were collage making, creative writing, t-shirt painting, dumb charades, personality contest, Ad-Mad (ad making) and the ever famous treasure hunt. All the events promise exciting prizes to the winners. Cicero’s one of the most interesting and intellectual event is Ad Mad competition. The competition’ On the whole Cicero’s Challenge 2013 was a dazzling and spectacular event; an ideal climax before the students sign off for the summer vacations.
