Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins and Ron DeVoe, better known as BBD a.k.a. Bell Biv DeVoe, bridge the gap between hip-hop and R&B like no other male group today. Founded in Baltimore Maryland, and active since 1992, Dru Hill was most popular during the late 1990s, Sisqó, Nokio, Jazz, and Woody equated the perfect musical blend of soulful R&B, rock, hip-hop, and romance. The group recorded over seven top 40 hits.In 2001 the group added a fifth member Scola. In 2002 Woody left the group to pursue a gospel career on Kirk Franklin's Gospocentric Label and in 2008 Scola left the group to begin a solo career.
