Tyrese is a Grammy-nominated R&B singer-songwriter, actor, author, television producer, former fashion model and MTV VJ. His musical career began when he was discovered on a bus which led to his appearance singing in a Coca-Cola commercial in 1994. His debut album, "Tyrese", was released in 1998 which led to him winning "Favorite New Artist" at the 2000 American Music Awards. From 2001 -2011, he went on to release several albums that included the chart-topping singles "Sweet Lady", "Lately", and "How You Gonna Act Like That" to name a few. Between albums, he has held lead roles in several major Hollywood films. He recently announced that he is working on a new album entitled "Black Rose" which will be released in 2014.

Multi-platinum singer-songwriter, dancer and actor, Ginuwine, emerged on the R&B scene during the late 1990’s when he was discovered by a member of the hit group Jodeci. Following his debut single "Pony" he went on to release a number of multi-platinum and platinum-selling albums and singles. He is known for his dance moves almost as much as for his music. Who can forget his dance sequence with the broom in his "None of Your Friends’ Business" video?

Tank began his music career as a backup singer for Ginuwine. He released his debut album "Force of Nature" in 2001 which included the hit single "Maybe I Deserve". As a songwriter/producer, he has worked with many different artists over the years including Aaliyah, Jamie Foxx, Pitbull and Monica and was also a contributor to the score of the film adaptation of the musical Dreamgirls, in which he also had a cameo. His sensual love songs have garnered him much success with four albums and eight Grammy nominations.

In 2007, Tyrese, Ginuwine and Tank formed a trio called TGT (which obviously stands for Tyrese, Ginuwine and Tank) to fill a void left by the recent breakups of several male R&B groups. Given the success and list of hits produced by each of these artists individually, this trio

was immediately deemed a super group. They released a remix of Tank’s single, "Please Don’t Go" but due to each member being individually signed to different record labels their official debut was delayed for several years. TGT is now officially signed to Atlantic Records, with a newly released single, "Sex Never Felt Better", and their self-tltled debut album due in July.

North Carolina native Fantasia Barrino won the 2004 American Idol competition and shortly thereafter released her debut album entitled "Free Yourself." In 2006, she released a New York Times bestselling memoir, "Life Is Not a Fairytale", and starred in the Lifetime movie based off of the book, as well as, released "Fantasia", her second studio album with its hit single "When I See U." She has appeared on Broadway’s The Color Purple and a two-season run of the VH1 reality series, Fantasia For Real. Fantasia has sold over three million records and 1.5 million digital tracks domestically. Most recently she received rave reviews when she returned to the American Idol stage in April singing her newly-released single "Lose to Win" from her fourth album "Side Effects of You".

This concert is estimated to attract thousands of fans to the Red Hat Amphitheater and is guaranteed to be the summer’s most talked about live entertainment event. For additional information, please visit www.hiphopnc.com.
