The event will be held in an open layout Chicago loft at Society Gallery. Join FunderHut as they celebrate what makes Chicago great: community. Originating in Chicago, FunderHut is an emerging crowdfunding platform dedicated to help raise needed funds for projects and organizations. It provides a unique online atmosphere where users can discuss, develop, inspire and fund projects. FunderHut highlights the essential role that community plays in everyday lives and is committed to celebrate, unite, and better communal relationships. “We wanted to create this event to not only mark the beginning of stronger community bonds through a fun night of music, art, and dance,” says co-founder of FunderHut, Dan Salganik, “but also by adding in a social aspect where people can come hang out, watch some shows, and network!” “Support Local” will feature up-and-coming Chicago musicians such as Blah Blah Blah, who were voted as one of Chicago Tribune’s next bands on the verge of breaking big. Artist Allen Vandever will be publically performing the Art of Fencing while Brandy Kraft will showcase her artistic skills to guests by painting live.
