SCRANTON, Pa. - May 20, 2013 - PRLog -- Wilkes-Barre, PA --  Twelve State Farm Agents from across Northeast PA are banding together to encourage safe driving over the Memorial Holiday weekend.  On Friday, May 24th, select State Farm agents throughout the region will be hosting State Farm Customer Appreciation Day in order to encourage safe driving amongst existing and new customers. With tools provided to them nationally, these State Farm agents will gladly answer questions about being safer on the road, protecting your car from theft while vacationing (and at home), as well as teen safe driving and other summer driving topics.   Each agent will be treating those who stop in this Friday to food and drinks as well as free gifts and giveaways. “It’s simply a way to say ‘thank you’ to our existing customers and introduce ourselves to our other neighbors as well.  Our group of agents  really work hard to help our customers, and with this event we will provide safe driving & travel information that will help them even more.” states Frank Sorokach, who has an office on Route 92 South in Tunkhannock, PA.    Sorokach has planned a day of donuts and coffee for those who want to come in and see what they have to offer.

Also participating in the State Farm Customer Appreciation Day is Jen Ricci-Lupole, whose office is located at 629 E. Drinker Street in Dunmore.  Jenn is very excited about the day and looks forward to treating customers to lunch offerings and information to help them in the future. Adding that the “event is intended to be good neighbor type fun,” Rob Farina, also in Tunkhannock is planning a cookout in the parking lot of his office on Route 29 South.  A cookout will also be held at the office of Dan Ricci, 70 Lathrop Street in Montrose.  Kevin Kendall in the Pocono Region of PA is serving delicious barbecue catered by a restaurant located near his office at 933 Weir Lake Road in Kunkletown.   Christie Bonnice, Hwy 315 across from the Woodlands in Wilkes-Barre will be serving light snacks throughout the day while greeting new and existing customers.   In Mosow, you will find Good Neighbor behavior with refreshments at the office of Jeff Ryan, Drinker Turnpike, Covington Twp.  Another Montrose State Farm agent, Tim Carpenter, 16559 State Route 706, will be participating offering food and drink during the event.  Al Pianelli, 165 N Wilkes Barre Blvd in Wilkes-Barre, will provide snacks throughout the day as well.  Beth Moloughney plans to serve sandwiches and desserts at  her office at 1434 Pocono Blvd. in Mount Pocono.   A light lunch will highlight the festivities at Jerry Donahue’s office at 300 N. Keyser Ave.  And in Kingston you are invited to Dave Andes office at 348 Pierce Street for refreshments.

Each State Farm Custom Appreciation Day Celebration will be unique to the office with different prizes and free gifts at each location.  State Farm Agent, Frank Sorokach stresses that “this is for NEW and existing customer and all are invited to attend.”   For exact times at each of the locations call your local State Farm Agent.  You can find your local State Farm agent on-line at www.statefarm.com.
