DAS|Inc Rings Nasdaq Closing Bell 5/10/13

CARMEL, N.Y. - May 20, 2013 - PRLog -- On May 10, 2013, DAS, Inc. was invited to ring the Nasdaq closing bell in honor of the 10 year anniversary of their flagship product, DAS Trader Pro. Also, DAS, Inc. and Nasdaq were celebrating their 5th year of DAS, Inc. as a NasdaqOMX Certified Platinum Partner.

Welcomed by NasdaqOMX’s Manny Santayana and Annie O’Callaghan, DAS, Inc.’s CEO and co-founder Karen Gentile, alongside co-founder Tom Liu and the DAS team, rang the closing bell while being projected on the Nasdaq Marketsite’s tower in Times Square, viewed by thousands of people on the street and around the world. Mr. Santayana remarks, “They have come a long way in just a couple years, from being an OMS software provider to a complete financial technology solutions provider. It has been a privilege working with DAS, Inc. as a platinum partner for five years and we will continue to seek opportunities to increase the value of our overall partnership."

Family, friends, and supporters were in attendance, along with Karen Gentile’s special guest, Guy Gentile, a pivotal player in offering DAS Trader Pro and other low latency products to the trading community. After the closing bell ceremony, Guy Gentile commented that, “Not only are we thrilled to have made it this far in DAS’s ten years of operations, we are also excited for what the future holds for DAS’s technology and the services my brokerages can offer to the trading communities around the world.”

The ringing of Nasdaq’s closing bell is the first event in 2013 celebrating DAS, Inc’s 10 year anniversary of DAS Trader Pro. They will shortly release details regarding a promotional event in July that all DAS traders can participate in, along with ringing the NYSE closing bell in October.
