ATLANTA - May 21, 2013 - PRLog -- It's that time again.  In honor of The Late Great Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, The Lisa Lopes Foundation hosts another private VIP / Press Reception to Celebrate the life and legacy of Lisa Lopes. This event will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2013, at Bar One 687 Memorial Drive, Atlanta, GA 30316. In the late 1990's Lisa traveled to the impoverished Central American country of Honduras for the first time, and soon made a second home for herself there. She was drawn to the country’s natural beauty, holistic healing, and most of all to its people. When she passed in 2002, she was in the process of bringing to fruition her dream of establishing a non-profit educational and medical center on property she owned near the coastal cities of La Ceiba and Jutiapa. Today, the Lisa Lopes Foundation is poised to make Lisa’s dream a reality by holding events like these to continue to raise money to sustain her legacy long after we're all gone.  In the past, The Lisa Lopes Foundation has attracted many VIP's and has been known to bring oasis-like events filled with education, performances and fashion, just as Lisa would have wanted it. Special invited guests include Da Brat, Blaque, Brandon Casey of Jagged Edge, Michael Keith from 112, The Tony Rich Project, Orlando McGhee and Rico Wade of Organized Noize, Future, DJ Nabs, Farrah Franklin, Latavia Roberson, Kandi Burruss, Tameka Scott, music producer Shekespere, Keke Palmer and 1/3 of TLC T-Boz. It is May, which means Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes' birthday is nearing. Lisa's birthday is on May 27th to be exact. "The Lisa Lopes Foundation" along with VIP guests will dedicate the evening to Celebrating Lisa's Birthday and Launching the official date for the 2nd Annual 'Left Eye Music Fest'.    The Lisa Lopes Foundation is dedicated to providing youth from low income communities and diverse cultural backgrounds with innovative programs, and resources to increase motivation and strengthen their desire to succeed in school and beyond. The purpose of the event is to raise money to continue to provide for the youth, while bringing family and friends in the entertainment industry together in Lisa's honor, as we celebrate her life, achievements, and accomplishments. This ongoing annual event is FREE for invited guests and any additional accompanying guests will be asked to make a $20 donation (at the door) to the 'Lisa Lopes Foundation'. This event attracts over 200 individuals. It takes place on Saturday, May 25, 2013 from 5:00pm-8:00pm at a venue with a chic and upscale atmosphere, featuring a Silent Auction, Raffle Tickets to The 2nd Annual Left Eye Music Fest, and more.
