The Bungalow Restaurant To Offer $250 Gift Card For Next Great Muddled Summer Cocktail Recipes

ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. - May 22, 2013 - PRLog -- Calling all Cocktail Connoisseurs! A Newport Beach area institution for over sixteen years, The Bungalow restaurant in Corona Del Mar, will kick off the summer with its first quarterly cocktail contest. The Bungalow invites all local professional and amateur mixologists and home bartenders to submit an original cocktail recipe that calls for a muddling step using seasonal ingredients. All recipe submissions must not have been previously published. The contest will begin on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 and all entries must be received by midnight PST on Saturday, June 15, 2013.

Three finalists will be chosen to compete by creating their concoctions at a Happy Hour event where a panel of judges will determine a winner based on creativity, unique ingredients and flavor (June date TBD; finalists must be present to win). The Bungalow Restaurant will then announce the winner and present them with a $250 The Bungalow gift card. Second place winner with receive a $100 The Bungalow gift card, and third place will receive a $50 The Bungalow gift card. The top Winner will also receive their cocktail printed on the restaurant’s menu throughout summer, boasting their name- along with bragging rights!
