Taylor Hyundai to Give 2013 Elantra to One Exceptional Senior

PERRYSBURG, Ohio - May 23, 2013 - PRLog -- Next Wednesday will be an especially exciting day for the more than 300 senior students at Perrysburg High School.  Not only will it be their last day as high school students, ten lucky seniors will be given the opportunity to win some fantastic prizes, including a brand new car for them to drive off to college in.

Steve Taylor of Taylor Hyundai will be awarding a new 2013 Hyundai Elantra to one winning senior student, whose name will be drawn from over 2,000 entries.  This will be the fourth year in a row Mr. Taylor has given a deserving student a new vehicle as part of their “Driven to Succeed” program, a program that rewards PHS seniors who excel both in academics and extra-curricular activities.  

Students in their senior year were able to qualify for the drawing and could receive multiple entries in the drawing based on the following criteria:  each "A" received per quarter, each sport and/or extra-curricular activity they were involved in, teacher recommendations (each of the 120 teachers were asked to choose one deserving student to receive an entry) as well as have good attendance and no disciplinary issues.

The ten students whose entries are drawn will receive gift cards provided by Taylor Hyundai. Three students, whose entries will be drawn, will receive a key to be tried in three 2013 Hyundai Elantras parked on stage in the PHS Auditorium.  Mr. Taylor will tell the three students to “start their engines,” and the student whose car starts will win the car.
