By: SunBiz Showcase Alliance LLc The Koss Music Institute is like a daily music camp for kids. Every afternoon, dozens of kids are dropped off by their parents to learn music. Others will proudly stay and listen to their kid’s progress. It was heartwarming to learn that recently, the Lissa McClintock Fund, The First Night Tampa Bay Fund and the Community Foundation of Tampa Bay (a division of the Community Foundation of Tampa Bay) gave a grant of $7,500 to the Koss Music Institute. This grant could not have been apportioned to a more deserving organization. The Koss Music Institute led by master musician Greg Koss has been serving the Tampa Bay community for many years. Kids from around the area benefit from Greg Koss’ teaching as well as other notable area musicians every evening. The success of the Koss Music Institute is immeasurable. The Koss Kids appear solo at events in the Bay area as well as in a group such as the main stage at the Shoppes at Wiregrass at Christmas. Recently, the kids appeared at the Organic Life and at the studios of WMNF 88.5 FM Radio. Their next public appearance will be the summer show at the Shoppes at Wiregrass in Wesley Chapel on July 18th at 7pm. Thanks to the Community Foundation for recognizing talent when they see it. It is hoped that many others will support the Koss Kids and their music in the near future. To have a child enjoy the gift of music, contact Greg Koss at 813-949-6881 or visit the studio at 1922 Oak Grove Blvd, Lutz 33559 any afternoon after 3:30pm. You may also email Greg at kmcaigreg@ End
