Wagner Macula & Retina Center Opens Second Chesapeake Location

HAMPTON, Va. - May 30, 2013 - PRLog -- Alan L. Wagner, MD, FACS of Wagner Macula & Retina Center has announced the opening of a new location in Chesapeake.   The eighth Lean Six Sigma location for Wagner, the Chesapeake space combines modern Bauhaus architecture and a patient centric interior.  States Dr. Wagner, “The design of this space was centered around the patient experience.  That translates to a one-hour appointment spent primarily in advanced diagnostic testing, physician clinical team consultation and treatment.”
  The Chesapeake facility began accommodating patients in October of 2012 for diabetes, macular degeneration, retinal vascular diseases, ocular oncology, uveitis, and a wide range of macular and retina disorders. Both Dr. Wagner, and his new partner, Kapil Kapoor, MD, will treat patients at this new location.   “Dr. Kapoor and I have committed to being ahead of the curve in the ophthalmic industry today,” says Wagner. “The modern facility houses diagnostic equipment, research trails and the latest therapies to which only our patients have access.”
