Attorney John B. Ostrow Joins Polenberg Cooper

Ostrow has joined the firm as an attorney who will represent businesses and individuals before federal and state courts as well as in arbitration, in the areas of Commercial Litigation, Copyright Infringement, Medical Malpractice, Personal Injury, and Trademark Infringement. Before joining the firm, Ostrow was President of John B. Ostrow, P.A. in Miami.

Ostrow has been practicing law for 42 years and has extensive experience as a trial attorney, specifically in the areas of Medical Malpractice, Personal Injury and Intellectual Property. He is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida, and he is also a certified Mediator.

Ostrow began his career as a law clerk for the Honorable James Lawrence King, in the United States District Court. He then acquired several years of insurance defense experience at Huebner, Shaw, Bunnell and later Marlow, Shofi and Ortmayer. After leaving those firms, he opened his own practice.

Ostrow was the former Chairman of the Florida Board of Bar Examiners and served on the Florida Board of Bar Examiners for seven years. He was a member of the Florida Bar Intellectual Property Specialty Certification Committee and the Florida Bar Rules of Civil Procedure committee. Ostrow is currently a Member of the Florida Bar Intellectual Property Specialty Certification Committee and the Florida Bar Rules of Civil Procedure Committee.
