Baying Hound Aleworks Celebrates 3 Years In Business

ROCKVILLE, Md. - June 12, 2013 - PRLog -- We don’t really need an excuse to throw a special event, but this one is a birthday!  We will be celebrating our third anniversary with three straight days of exciting, handcrafted ales, from a light session to the hoppier and darker beers we’ve dreamed up.  

Feel like putting us in our place and inflicting a little harmless humiliation on your friendly neighborhood brewers?  Just like last year, we will have a refreshing Dunk Tank, so while you laugh at us for getting all wet, we will be laughing at you because we are staying cool.  Throws will be $2 a ball or $5 for three; if you sink us on the first throw from the throwing line, our founder will buy you a pint.

We will be tapping a special ale in celebration! Lord Wimsey, our flagship English-style pale ale, has been mellowing himself in an oak barrel for the past 3 months, and it’s time we let him off the leash. There are only 50 gallons, and it will be available on draught and in 22 oz. bottles, only at Baying Hound Aleworks and while supplies last.  Wimsey will be joined by his friends in Society Fringe Players, because we all know that music and beer go hand in hand. More bands will be announced in late June.

Save the dates: July 5-7 from noon – 10 PM.  Drink, dunk, and celebrate 3 years of brewing, and the dream of serving our community for many more to come.  We are a dog friendly group (but make sure your canine buddy plays well with others), and tell your friends to come down too!
