By: Falbe Publishing Falbe who runs Falbe Publishing of Battle Creek, Michigan released the vintage recipes cookbook on June 3rd at her website and shortly thereafter at the Amazon Kindle bookstore. Now that the premium distribution process has been completed, the ebook will become available in over 50 countries. Falbe developed the cookbook based on a handwritten notebook that her late grandmother Edna Oldershaw Irwin of Chatham, Ontario, Canada started writing in 1926 at the age of 15. Falbe spent six months typing the recipes and preparing them for publication. Although it was a labor of love to create a family legacy of traditional recipes, Falbe believes the recipes offer great value to cooks everywhere. Their vintage quality shows in the simplicity of ingredients. Generations ago people cooked with basic supplies and often lacked easy access to fancy ingredients. Therefore these vintage recipes are very economical to use because they only need easy to find and affordable ingredients. The cookbook has a special focus on traditional holiday fruitcakes. Despite fruitcakes often being joked about these days, Falbe discovered that they were delicious after baking one of the vintage recipes last Christmas when she began her study of the original notebook. With the publication of this recipe collection, Falbe hopes to help more people appreciate the value of vintage recipes. Multiple formats of the ebook are immediately available direct from the publisher at http://www.falbepublishing.com/ End
