Emmy Award Winning Composer Charles Denler to Score Local Canonsburg, PA Indy Film, “Croaker”

BOCA RATON, Fla. - June 16, 2013 - PRLog -- McMurray Filmmaker, Fred Terling, announces his first independent feature film, Croaker, will be scored by Emmy Award winning composer, Charles Denler.

Why does an Emmy Award winning composer want to score a local Indy film? "I love independent films. CROAKER is a rare mix of great story telling, and great film making. I am sure it will keep the audience 'hopping' in their seats,” Charles replies.

With nearly 200 film and television scores to his credit, Charles Denler’s multiple Emmy Award-winning music can be heard all over the world. His ability to work in a wide variety of genres, and his collaborative work sense, has made him a top choice among producers and directors.

“This film is more about relationships than buckets of blood and cgi monsters. We want music and sound to play a very prominent character in the film and I was absolutely blown away when Charles contacted me about it,” said the film’s Producer, Fred Terling.

Croaker is an independent film being shot in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. The story centers on the Sirko family that has fallen next in line to a 17th century curse. The film will wrap principal cinematography in late July, 2013. Initial distribution of the film has been secured for Amazon, iTunes and Netflix and will hit the secondary film market on October 1, 2013.
