ShopClues celebrates achievement of 10,000 Merchants

CONNAUGHT PLACE, India - June 17, 2013 - PRLog -- New Delhi, 17th June 2013.ShopClues, a managed marketplace, hosted its Seller Summit in New Delhi. Nearly 150 merchants representing over 65 listing categories attended this Seller Summit.  

The idea behind the Seller Summit was to celebrate the success merchants have achieved on ShopClues marketplace platform.  In January 2012, ShopClues had close to 10 merchants and by end of May 2013, the merchant base reached 10,000 merchants.  These 10, 000 merchants operate in nearly 928 listing categories, generating on monthly nearly 300k orders over Rs. 20 crores in gross revenue and M/M growth of 10% to 15%. This was the first time any E-Commerce hosted an event like this for its merchant community.
