By: Waterfront BIA “The My Waterfront Photo Contest is a great opportunity to discover Toronto’s Waterfront and capture its beauty through photography,” MY WATERFRONT PHOTO CONTEST Starting July 1 for four weeks, images can be uploaded to the WBIA website. Participants can submit up to two images per week. To submit a photo and for complete contest rules, visit www.waterfrontbia.com. Submissions are accepted until each Sunday at midnight: Week 1: Monday, July 1 – Sunday, July 7 Week 2: Monday, July 8 – Sunday, July 14 Week 3: Monday, July 15 – Sunday, July 21 Week 4: Monday, July 22 – Sunday, July 28 Successful photos will then be displayed for viewing and voting on: Week 1 Voting: Wednesday, July 10 – Tuesday, July 16 Week 2 Voting: Wednesday, July 17 – Tuesday, July 23 Week 3 Voting: Wednesday, July 24 – Tuesday, July 30 Week 4 Voting: Wednesday, July 31 – Tuesday, August 6 Don’t forget to visit the WBIA website to check out the new images posted every week and “like” your favourite ones. Photos with a minimum of 50 “likes” at the end of each submission week will be entered into a draw for a Mariposa Cruises’ Dinner Cruise for two and will be submitted for consideration to be included in the My Waterfront Photo Exhibit at the award-winning Queen’s Quay Terminal (207 Queens Quay West) in the Fall. At the end of the contest, a panel of esteemed judges will select 50 finalists from the My Waterfront Photo Contest to have their photo printed as a 24x36” poster and displayed at the award-winning Queen’s Quay Terminal as part of the My Waterfront Photo Exhibit from October 1 - October 31. “Through the My Waterfront Photo Exhibit, amateur photographers will have a chance to have their work showcased in a public forum,” adds Jolly.
